Those of us who woke up on the west coast that day to alarm clock radios which were talking about the attacks already under way would be well aware of that. Which implies that the Marriott employee who came up with that remembrance was probably not on the west coast 12 years ago (or else working a late shift and getting up late as a result).
Well, the first plane hit at 8:46 AM, the second plane at 9:03 AM, the first tower fell at 9:59 AM and the last tower fell at 10:28 AM ET. So if you honestly think the genius at the Marriott was actually thinking about 8:45 - 9:15 AM as being any kind of alignment with actual 9/11 events, you're being much more forgiving than me.
