Now, the trick about this route is if YVR to HKG is sold at 90% capacity, that only leaves 10% capacity for JFK to HKG via YVR. If no one flies from JFK to YVR, then the plane will be very light. I don't know if there's a huge demand between JFK and YVR, but that will be the case.
Sorry to revive an old thread. What's the issue with the YVR crew? I've loved all my flights between JFK-YVR-HKG and the service has been excellent to date. There's a hot purser based out of YVR that's great eye candy too. But please tell me what negative issues you've encountered so that I can be a little more educated.
