If you book the' flight + car' you will also be entitled to 5k bonus Avios as you will be booking it as a 'package'. (It's per 'holiday' though and not per person)

(5k for Y and W, 10k for J and F)

It can take up 5-6 weeks for these to post so give it time once you come back then chase BA Holidays up if you need to.
