Until recently I had to make short notice trips to Glasgow. It was frequently cheaper (by hundreds of pounds) to fly up the previous evening & overnight, then fly back the next evening.

Last time I did it I got the flight & hotel for £180. A one-way seat on the flight I booked GLA-LCY was north of £200!

OP - Did you price WT+ at the same time

(If you didn't, and if you're staying away until next Sunday just to get the cheaper fare you probably don't want to look at that. I don't think packages allow the 24hr cooling off period).
