LH is a little anal-retentive on their policy. I was flying on an UA award F ticket, and had a LH tag flight MXP-FRA the night before. As such I'm entitled to two carry-ons. One (my Tom Bihn Brain Bag) weighed nine kg, one (my RedOxx extra small aviator) weighed five.

You guessed it... at check in the contract staff made me move my CPAP from one bag to the other. Of course, since I then had to take the CPAP back out for security, I stuck it right back into the Brain Bag and went about my business.

I'm curious how much my Brain Bag weighs loaded for a 3-day US trip (with a checked bag for my clothes). I'll have to weigh it at the airport the next time I go out. On a vacation it would go out a little lighter, as I'd have my tablet instead of a laptop, and no work portfolio.
