I've generally had very good success with the preorder system. Unfortunately, my last lax-jfk red eye transcon no mention of preorder (which was the soup), had to remind and he said he didn't know they had soup but would look for it.

Also JFK to Mia crew earlier thought preordered meals meant "special" meals, not just selecting one of the regular meals.

Was kind of disappointed that there are still crew without knowledge/experience in this.
