Looks like I'll be gambling on LH F opening up closer to departure. I tried to route through MUC and YUL to at least guarantee a J seat, but I was advised said routing was not valid. I'll also see if TG F from NRT-BKK opens up. Getting 2 long-haul NH F segments definitely lessens the pain though!
