I think BA does have some problems with brand recognition of their particular cabins.

I had a text from a friend who had boarded a LGW-St Lucia, and had been moved from their paid preallocated WT seats to WTP, and texted me asking if I had any ideas to get them moved back to 'their pre-reserved seats'. They needed told that World Traveller Plus was an upgrade, and just assumed that the WTP seats were standard economy.

I have also had many tell me that Club World "first", on the flawed rationale that World Traveller Plus is "business" and Traveller "economy".

The number of travellers of my age who are aware that there even are 4 cabins on BA, never mind their nomenclature is baffling to most.
