Here's something I just tried last night - and it WORKED!!!!

I have a RBC Target Redcard MC and I get 5% off purchases at Target. I also got a $25 Starbucks gift card and I didn't think I'd get 5% off the Starbucks card as well as the merchandise, but I tried it and I did! I have a feeling this is a glitch (I've seen it documented that it shouldn't allow this).

So now I transfer that card $$ value to my Gold Card and get Starbucks rewards for that.

That was a nice a nice double-dip!

Edit: I just checked the T&C and only Target cards and Target Pre-paid cards are excluded from the 5% discount, so all other prepaid cards are eligible for 5% off!!! This is not the case in the US where all prepaid cards are excluded from the 5% discount. This is an EXCELLENT value!!!
