Cluelessness regarding Firefly by the Hertz reps is somewhat understandable, as Firefly in MCO isn't officially opening until the 15th of September.
FYI - I had a 15-day rental reservation booked in early October with Firefly at MCO but have since cancelled it. I was able to make an identical reservation through Hertz for $40 less. (Compact car, same dates and times, $302 vs. $262)
Hertz and Firefly are owned by the same company and share a common booking system, but it appears that reservations made under the Firefly pricing system do not qualify for any of the Hertz CDP or PC discounts.
PM me for details regarding the discounts used, as I don't want to clutter this thread.
