Searched and didn't see anything more recent on this topic than 2010, so thought it worth asking...

Looking at a MR to ANC on US (no status). They only have one flight/day and the inbound connection in PHX is only 30 minutes. Being a zero-day turn, missing this flight throws off the entire itinerary.

What's likely to happen if I miss that connection? Will they just push the whole itinerary one full day? Assuming it's not WX, will they put me up in a hotel for the ~24 hour delay? If it is WX, I suspect I'm on my own for expenses, but will they still push the whole itinerary?

At some pooint do I try to declare a "trip in vain"?
