Thanks Rick. I have until tomorrow to let my TA know whether or not to go ahead and confirm the AC tix. I've flown CX economy to BKK and their service was miles ahead of AC....although, I did find their Y seats not as comfortable as AC. Weird.

The only thing holding me on the fence is that, with the YYZ-HKG-BKK flight, it pushes me over 50K AQM for the year, and very close to 75K. I have automatic Gold status with CX thanks to my Amex Platinum card, so I'm not sure what to do. I do like the idea of a more comfortable ride and better service with CX....Hmmmm.

Anyone have any opinions on the above?
