I would view any airline that did offer it as going beyond what is required rather than be an expectation
I totally agree with this comment.
Codeshares generally only give limited benefits for FFP, more often only to the marketing airline FFP eg. QFF for EK flights.
All this is a reason why I hate codeshares, avoid them like the plague, and state to people that codeshares are only beneficial to the airlines not the passengers (yes I know generalist statement that can be proven like my post of being factually incorrect

)
Just follow the rule, do not book a codeshare until you are certain of what you are entitled to get.
