What does the age of the CC have to do with anything? Why is an older crew seen by some people as a bad thing?

Assuming they are qualified to do their job, I couldn't care less whether someone is 25 or 55. It's a bit like saying BA's crew is taller than another airline. So what?

Although, come to think of it being taller might confer some practical advantage.
