There is such a massive difference between WT+ and CW that maybe expectation is sometimes too high when going from CW to F for the first time. There's only so much that can be done to a seat in a flying dorm before it is overdone and I don't personally like the blinged-up cupboard-like suites in EK.

IMO the seat, food, drink, space, lounges (at least at LHR) and general ambiance are better in F and it is well worth the extra Avios. I wouldn't pay (my) cash for it though .
