If you're on a 777 you're guaranteed the new cabin, 747 would depend on route. In reality NF vs OF makes little difference to your enjoyment of the flight, other than the IFE system

The offer is also valid for semi-flexible fares, buckets C and D. In that case you have to book your upgrade until Sep 24 for travel before Nov 12. If you buy a full fare J fare you can book your upgrade up until Nov 12. At least that is what it says on the BA site.
