Getting close to pulling the trigger on a status match from UA Gold to Delta. I have already booked a Z fare for November on Delta that will net me 15,5xx MQMs on Delta metal (plus a few more on non-Delta metal that I understand would count toward the match). I know I need 16K to hit the match. However I also signed up for the Delta Platinum Amex which gives me 5K MQMs.

My question is, will the MQMs from the Delta Platinum Amex count toward the status match? I assume no but would like to avoid having to do a mileage run for less than 500 MQMs?
