Radical difference. Moving wreckage to a hangar when appropriate, after all needed rescue and investigation is complete, is a reasonable step to allow an airport to resume normal operations. Nothing further is gained from having that fuselage sitting on the ramp. Painting over it, is an action intended to deceive.

If your car is involved in a wreck on the freeway, do you have it towed, or do you pull off the license plate so nobody knows it was yours?
