the European version of the promo (which has a strange wording the claims most non-Scand Euro hotels are 8000/night)
doesn't start until the 16th, so you
could be too early.
Remember, when the US gift card promo was on, you could only redeem 8000 for a gift card during the promo (or maybe a bit after). So there is some history of tying redemption promos to earning promos.
