An observation from driving past. Hotel can be reached by enclosed walkway from the airport terminal. You could easily turn the car in the night before or delay picking it up till the next morning if that made sense for you. Might have planned it that way had I known. Also, the airport parking is all at ground level and not a garage, so it has line-of-site navigation instead of guessing where to turn in a parking struture. Parking next to the hotel would not be hard, even if it is in an airport lot (so long as it was not sold out).
There is also gasoline available on-airport if you bypass the terminal and circle around past the hotel like you were leaving.
