I have a LO flight next week I can't take. The ticket is non-refundable, non-changeable and the best I can hope to get back are airport and country taxes which are about 50 EUR (YQ is non-refundable, isn't it?). I purchased the ticket on Expedia and the ticket and all the segments are on LO.

What is the best strategy for claiming the refund? I guess it's best to wait until next week hoping for a cancellation/schedule change. But how much before the departure is safe? And if I understand how the system works, I need to contact Expedia (which I would rather avoid) before the departure but can I do online check-in and contact LO instead? Is there any fee for the refund charged by LO? There is no info about such a fee in the LO CoC.
