It is worth it, especially if you don't already get free bags as a Delta Amex cardholder. But also of good value IMHO are:

- Upgrades, which can be 1/3 or more of the time if you plan your flights carefully.
- Exit row seating, if you a tall guy, this is a nice perk.
- IROPS rebooking. While there are lots of golds and above, silver is above everyone else in priority.
