I'd venture to say that the airlines are wasting more money in this day and age by attempting to cover up their distinctive logos on their planes after a crash then they recover in lost revenue by people not flying with them as a result of a crash. It would be pretty hard for an airline like Avianca to make one their aircraft unidentifiable following a crash.
