Lol i wish, have around 40 flights with af-klm this year and there is no trick afaik. You will be recognized as a std skyteam elite (plus).
During olci you will be finally recognized by your delta status (which is sometimes incorrect). The system/people there have appearantly some difficulties to see your delta status (when you call klm for free ec.seats much of the time they put you on hold to verifying your current status by calling delta, lol great JV).
