Thanks very much. I'm actually giving some thought to simply going landside through immigration and taking the express to T5, because I've done that before and know it well, and the route, though long to the express station for T3 from the AA gates, is very wheelchair friendly. Basically it's two lifts, I think. And arriving at T5 on the express and getting into the departures area is a snap. Plus, we could use the AA arrivals lounge at T3 that way and I could take the kids for a spin on the parking pods over at T5, which is something I think they would love. We have fast track, and I've usually been lucky at T3 immigration, so it might just be easiest to do it that way if our arriving flight is on time. The only issue is whether the T3 immigration officer is going to throw me in jail when I tell him we're entering England despite having a flight connection so we can ride the pods.
