My old memory bank is failing -- I was thinking my transits were to (at the time) non-Schengen countries but checking my history spreadsheet I had things confused. Sorry about that.

But I still wouldn't do a 1:10 connection on the return to the US, that doesn't leave much cushion. I wouldn't even like that at AMS, which is less complicated and I know pretty well.
