Great report! Must say that JAL's new Business Class looks impressive, though a bit cramped. Do all passengers have direct aisle access, or does the window pax have to jump over somebody's legs?
All seats have a direct aisle access

Food looked nice too, especially the lobster. Offering a la carte dining in Business is indeed impressive, though have they catered enough food to supply the passengers? I'm guessing it was up to everyone to decide whether they wanted something to eat before departure, or was that service conducted in the usual fashion?
I don't think they have catered enough for each choice but can't tell you more.
The service start with a classical lunch (japanese or western style) and after you can choose everything you want up to 1H30 before landing. In fact, there is no second service and you must take care about ordering food before the deadline.
