If Branson and DL both decided to sell their stakes in VS and BA bought them I'd imagine Flying Club members would get a 1-2 year status match like BD but I don't think BA would reward them for their years of disloyalty
If they did decide to be nice to the BD flyers (and remember the
Diamond Club systems are still up and running so they can still easily get this data), they'd have to decide a ratio to convert BD status miles to BA tier points.
I don't disagree. It would have been very generous indeed if BA had included the ex-BMI people. But it still sucks for those affected.
It would be very interesting to know how many people are actually immediately affected by this change.
