Are you arriving WS or AA metal. Where is the onward WS flight to? What time of day and what day of the week is this connection happening? These are all factors which determines whether you are likely to make it or not.

Normal arrival you clear immigration, pick up bags, custom (most likely a wave through) and drop bag on onward Canadian connection drop if your bags are check through. If not then you take your bags upstairs departure level to check in.
Then you head to departure level and CATSA security check and then onto your gate.

If your arrival is WS or AA metal you will have about a 5-10 minutes walk to customs. Canadian have express passport scan which is a bit faster than the non-Canadian line. this wait varies by time of day and day of week.

Then it is check bags pickup (another wildcard if you can avoid it - carry on only)

Exit customs and drop bags on connecting baggage belt.

Then CATSA, a wildcard in terms of time that you cannot avoid.

These are made on assumption that you are flying AA or WS metal into YYZ T3 seeing that you are AA PLT and WS and AA fly that route with the most frequency.
