Hi guys

Just after some advice as my flight next May in First has been cancelled, BA have decided to go with only 2 flights that day. They offered me (even though I booked with AVIOS) a 787 replacement but of course there is no First class on this so they have thrown open all NYC flights to us.

Thinking of taking the 11.25 into JFK which is a NF 747, only problem is I spent so long researching the correct 747 seats I have no idea about the 747 First seats! I read the seating queries sticky link, but if we are a couple on a day flight would we still be best served in the 5 E/F (4 E/F has gone) if we are still on speaking terms by next May? Can you actually converse in the side seats like 2/3 K as a couple?
