Yes - if your country of residence is canada - it will be stamped in canada.

If your country of residence is india - you will be asked to drop your passport and a printout of the pdf'd letter you get on myCIC asking you to send your passport for stamping, off at the nearest VFS office in your city. VFS will collect a few hundred rupees from you, and courier your passport to the canadian embassy for stamping. From there it will be couriered back to your home.
