I take it the LH ground staff aren't the friendliest? I was planning on heading to the lounge for assistance if/when I miss the connection. Anyone lounge better than another if your experiences?
I did a 50 minute connection connection AC to LH in July, which I did not think was possible before based on my experiences at Frankfurt. It was a remote stand to remote stand one too (i.e. arrive by bus, board via B5x gate bus again). However in order to make it work you have to have an inbound on time, light lineups in security and you have to boot it. I just caught my flight, but I also knew there was another LH flight 3 hours later if I missed my connection.
The LH ground staff are fine - I've missed connections before and not had an issue getting help. I've had LH GAs at the gate of the flight I missed help rebook me before, also the AC transfer desk works if you need AC and also and I've had help at the B42 SEN lounge from both LH and AC staff.
