Loyalty has benefits. And I don't mean being a diamond member.
The point is that individual properties value loyalty in addition to the GP Program.
A return Diamond guest is often treated better than a first time Diamond.
Years ago before all teams in a Hyatt hotel began their shift they held briefings, including in house VIPs. It also listed total nights at Hyatt hotels worldwide and nights at that particular property.
