As long as you provide your SQ # on your US reservation, they should pick up the baggage allowance automatically. It might take a few days after your new status takes effect before US is able to see it in the computer though. (For its own customers, US recommends allowing 2 weeks after achieving new status before it will appear to partner airlines, for example)
