Putting different kinds of crimes into the same box is simply not it. I am saying that some elements of "security" aren't working, and that some "security" approaches that supposedly "work" don't really work in the way the believers in magic want people to believe they do.
If some want to believe that criminals engaging in criminal behavior in and around a plane -- theft or otherwise -- isn't evidence of a "security" problem, that's not my problem.
