But seriously, the old ones had a little peak in the hard plastic at the top that was literally painful. The new ones are at least comfortable.

I would definitely get up out of my seat to get my QC15s if I had forgotten to take them out! .... and the old AA earphones would not stay in my ears, they kept falling out, as they were too big to fit into my ear properly.
