I must have been lucky. I would not have rated VS so highly back then if it had been looped entertainment as I'd have ended up reverting to watching movies on my laptop which isn't ideal in economy.

Now I have an iPad I'm no longer that bothered about IFE, although it's nice if I can find something interesting to watch that I'd not have downloaded myself.

If you look forward to decent IFE then it's worth investigating further. If you have a tablet/kindle/etc and sure you have enough to entertain you then there's less need to worry.
