TBH I have never noticed the floor creaking in first class, the champagne must have worked on me.

Could it be that it may not be a problem on all A380s? I have been on 3 of the QF A380s in F, and haven't noticed it, but again it could be the champagne hitting the spot.

On QF9 going into Dubai I did notice lots of plates rattling, from about 3 hours outside of Dubai. These were the "small plates" that were used in the supper service. It sounded like they were washing the plates up, but this seems unlikely. At one stage I was almost wondering if the crew were having a plate-rattling competition.
