Never having flown BA, but with 300K in Avios to spend and a free companion certificate to burn, we are trying to determine our best use of the Avios, that is, the best bang for our "buck". We don't want to squander the Avios, yet we have the free certificate so we want to get the most out of it.

We live in the US (Florida) and would be flying either out of Tampa (TPA), Orlando (MCO), or Miami (MIA). Obviously we would be using the BA product and must transit through London. We do not want to go to Australia, as we'll be saving that for a cruise.

Our thoughts were to fly J from Florida to London, and then F to our next destination.

What are the best F flight destinations on BA? How about J class? What are the routes to avoid?

We've been to JNB and would go again; would love to do CPT but availability is tight in J. Ditto for SIN. Would like to go to India but it would be Spring 2014 and I think the weather in India would be too hot.
