Yeah I think the code is given out with new Samsung account sign up or something when you register your phone. Actually when I first got my Note II Samsung was also giving out a flip case and NFC tags.

I would have ordered the spare battery and charger too if I didn't have a metal frame case that opens with screws. It is just too difficult to open the case every time I want to switch battery. It would be so nice to have spare battery though if I don't have the case. Every morning I would just pop in the other battery and go. Never have to charge my phone again! :P
