OP's post is confusing. Either he elected and paid for LDW and then sought reimbursement for something his employer doesn't permit (in which case, he owes the employer and he goofed) OR, the LDW was included in his corporate rate and should not have been billed as an extra.
In the latter case, OP owes his employer and needs to recoup from Hertz.
True, most employers would note the issue, warn the employee and forget about collecting because the point has been made.
