Why can things never be simple?
Tried to book what I thought was going to be a fairly simple multi-city itinerary. NWI to HAM. HAM to FLR. FLR back to NWI.
Managed to price the trip on Expedia last night, but for some reason each of their 100+ itineraries had me stopping overnight in AMS on the way back to NWI, despite the fact that there are two connecting flights on the same day.
So I thought I'd try booking with KLM direct. I usually book with them direct, but have found, in the past, that they are not particularly good when it comes to multi-city itineraries... though of course one keeps hoping that bugs will get fixed and that things will improve.
But, alas... not only did klm.com turn out to be "not very good", it refused to play ball completely:
It is currently not possible to calculate the ticket price for this flight. To book your flight, please contact the KLM Service Centre. Our apologies for the inconvenience!
Why, oh why, can't they even get the simplest things right?
Have now booked online with American Express Travel - who had no problems pricing the itinerary, and getting me home on the right day.
