I've been a Diamond many years in a row, and usually the new card has arrived in a standard envelope with some promotional material and a thank you for your loyalty letter.

Yesterday I received my renewed HHonors Diamond card, but this time in a small box that included a folded "Congratulations" card with the actual Diamond card glued to it, and booklet of card games associated with various Hilton worldwide locations as well as a full deck of HHonors playing cards. The cards come with suggestions for a getaway somewhere where there is a Hilton property. Example: 3 of spades- "Soak up some colonial history at the British Colonial Hilton Nassau Hotel, Bahamas."

Have others received this, or is this a limited/targeted marketing campaign (I'm US based, but mostly stay at non-US Hilton hotels)?
