It usually takes more of a relationship, spend and/or upgrade to get a Penthouse suite. This property is very good to Diamonds so it is a responsibility for all who frequent it to make sure reasonable expectations are put forth.
I knew the Parlor Suite was two rooms, what I didn't know was that they were a exact room types. Had one been a setup as a living room, and the other a bedroom than that would have sufficed, but unless you are a family with children, why would you want two identical rooms?

Pure speculation but I imagine the property is trying to differentiate between the Chase cc holders and genuine Diamond guests who spend big with Hyatt.

The Penthouse Suite we are in is entitled the`Āpuakēhau Penthouse Suite. It as one massive living room with flat screen TV and 2 balconies. There are 1.5 bathrooms, 1 bedroom with an additional balcony which has 2 sunbeds making visiting the pool unnecessary. There is also a kitchen with fridge, dishwasher, Nespresso and another coffee maker which grinds coffee beans.

We are incredibly impressed, and the hotel dealt with my issue promptly and to my satisfaction.
