Last night my son was flying home from his latest deployment in Afghanistan. One leg of the long journey included arriving at Baltimore/Washington at 11:30pm and departing at 6:30am. He and his fellow military travelers were pretty wiped out after 36 hours on planes over the past two days. When they unloaded they found that the BWI Sheraton Four Points had a shuttle waiting for any active service personnel that wanted to go to the hotel, shower and freshen up. They were given access to the employee shower facilities and lounge at a time it really helped. Kudos to the hotel management. I have not heard of any other offering this free service to our fighting men and women.
