Both EK and QF are very good (IMHO). My preferred strategy is to use both on LHR-SYD trips. I particularly enjoy using QF for the SYD-DXB leg as the QF F lounge is excellent and I enjoy the tasting menu (on a good day). EK from DXB - SYD offers the large and empty EK F lounge in DXB, lots of bling, a shower on board and the Torless Run-Rig
