Sorry if this has been asked before, but I am wanting to know if anyone has had recent experiences with cancelling an Alaska award ticket? Is it true that they will charge you $65 per ticket ($40 fee + $25 phone fee)? This is what they told me on the phone when I booked an AS reward. I booked 4 tickets, so that's a considerable difference if I need to cancel. Seems unfair considering they don't charge a fee for booking over the phone (since you cannot book online) so why would they charge a phone fee if you need to cancel? And if they did charge a phone fee, shouldn't the phone fee be a flat $25 fee - why $25 per ticket?
