I stayed 4 nights on business here a few weeks back for a Mon-Fri trip.
I paid $140 for Terrace 1Bedroom via our work TA.
Self Park is easy to find and free. Turn left on Harmon, turn right into the building and follow the ramp down.
Once I appeared in the lobby, I found it to be pretty unique. I liked it. Some may find it sensory overload.
After a negotiation at the counter, they comped me an upgrade to a Bellagio View Terrace 1B in the East Tower. This wasn't due to my Gold Status either. That got me nothing really other than points. The view was spectacular.
The room was something different. A mini kitchenette with a microwave, wet bar, etc was along the wall with a desk and a big couch. The wallpaper lined closet was in between the bedroom which had A/C I could turn down to 65F easily. The balcony was HUGE. I would guess 10-12 feet long and about 4 feet wide. Plenty of room for a table and a chair. It was 100F outside so I didn't step out much except to watch the fountains go off. On the downside, I could hear them go off at night if I were in the room. If you aren't in your room or you stay up past 11pm, then it isn't an issue.
The bathroom was unique. 2 big sinks and a separate toilet room flanked the right hand side. The shower was to the left and fairly open to the window facing the Bellagio Fountains. The Japanese soaker tub was against the wall. If you wanted to raise the blinds in the bedroom, you could see into the tub area.
The location of the Cosmo is PERFECT for me. I've stayed at the Luxor before which was too far removed from everything. I tried the Palazzo last time (Cosmo was sold out) and it too was a bit too far removed for me. The room at the Palazzo was comparable to the Cosmo and I may have preferred the style of it more but overall, they're both nice. The parking at Cosmo and the Marriott Points make the choice easier for me though. YMMV.
I tried several restaurants at the Cosmo while I stayed. We tried a slice at the hidden pizza place. It was pretty tasty. Not worth going out of your way for but pretty decent.
My cohort booked a rate that included $100 resort credit so we tried a meal at STK.
STK blew us away. My cohort and I tried the Small Strip (which was perfect), a beet salad, the Asparagus with Jalapeno Creme and Spiced Carrots.
If you check in on Foursquare, you'll qualify for a free glass of Prosecco which is a nice way to start
Overall, STK was amazing. We'd go back in a heartbeat.
Check out was QUICK. They billed me for the resort fees ($28 with tax) and gave me the bill. I could NOT get it waived. I tried.
This is my go to Las Vegas hotel now. I'm not sure how another hotel could top my experience.
About a week later, the points from my stay posted on my Marriott account. This is quite a bit longer than typical for me but they posted.
