HEL Duty frees: Finnair Duty free vs T2 Tax free
I have noticed during my time in HEL that Finnair duty free (27) seems cheaper than T2 tax free near the security check / gate 22.
For example a taxfree pack of Finnish favourite, original long drink 5.5%, costs 18 EUR in T2 tax free. Finnair price for similar product is 11 EUR - taxes when flying to ZRH. Net is about 8.50 EUR. Same goes with champagne and wines. Personally I have started to skip the T2 tax free and going to Finnair tax free straight away. If you count in the discounts Finnair FF´s receive (10% for silver), you start to get quite attractive offers on some of the cognacs also.
I have started this thread as a price comparison thread for both of the tax frees in T2 in order to facilitate some price competition between these 2 shops.
Which groups of products are cheaper in T2 tax free and which are cheaper in Finnair tax free?
