Got to fly one SFO-AMS on KL, the "Audrey Hepburn". At the time (2004? 2005?) it had an odd 3-4-2 layout. It was one of the few times I was able to snag the center row and stretch out and slept at least 6-7 hours. I think KLM refurbed most of them to a 2-5-2 layout. It was a nice ride. She is still flying with KL though the end is near.

The only L-1011 flight I can recall would have been on DL in 1998 or so, TPA-CVG then continuing to ROC on a horrid but new CRJ-200. The El Ten was rattly and smelly and the grand bank of lavs was pummeled by strong vibration from that aft engine which sounded like it was five feet away and on its last legs.
